RWT standard units for thermal degassing are complete performance units with optimally matched components.
The units are dimensioned in such a way that an operating time of 20 to 30 minutes remains with a full feedwater reservoir without the addition of supplementary water.

Design
The performance units were designed for the following conditions:
- Feedwater: approx. 105°C and 0.2 bar (g)
- Heating steam: saturated steam at 180°C and 9 bar (g)
- Desalination rate: 3%
- Exhaust vapour quantity: 0.3% of the nominal output
- Condensate quantity: 50% of the nominal output at 70°C
- Supplementary water: 15°C (43% of the mass balance)
- Max. operating overpressure: 0.5 bar (g)
- Max. operating temperature: 110°C
RWT also supplies standardized degassers up to 150 t/h, along with individual feedwater tanks, e.g. for substitution purposes. Special layouts or layouts that differ from the standard are available on request.
